TAPS Saves Lives- Featuring: Dooley

Sometimes a good dog lands in a bad situation. Enter: Dooley; dumped at a coal mine starving and emaciated. He was lucky enough to land at TAPS and was named after some of our followers thought “Dooley”, inspired from the movie Coal Miners Daughter, was the perfect name for him!

Dooley is estimated to be a 1 year old Retriever mix, and upon intake at TAPS also tested positive for ringworm. This young fellow is a trooper and after one month at TAPS does not even look like the same dog. Sometimes, all you need is a little love, TLC, regular meals, and dedicated staff and volunteers you learn to love and trust to make you into the healthy boy you were meant to be!

Dooley does still have a bit of a medical hold to complete, but we are currently accepting applications for him. Applications will be processed once he is close to release, and are processed in the order they are received. If you would like to be considered for this total hunk, please click here!

Dooley’s adoption fee is $185 and includes: neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, de-worming, flea/heartworm prevention, heartworm test, and microchip.
