Ephraim is a sweet and handsome (look at those eyes!) 4 year old, 60 pound retriever/lab mix who is available for adoption at TAPS in Pekin, IL. Staff and volunteers note that he LOVES to give kisses and is a complete sweetheart.
Ephraim rode very well in the car on his day out with a couple volunteers. Once at a house, he calmly explored his new surroundings. He was a real gentleman! Ephraim enjoyed playing with tennis balls and stuffed toys. Ephraim does tend to pull on the leash and jump during walks.
Since Ephraim is very smart, a good listener and treat motivated, we believe he is very trainable. He seemed to know to go potty outside and knows ‘sit’!
