Smitty is a very handsome 11 month old, 70 pound shepherd mix who is available for adoption at TAPS in Pekin, IL. Smitty came to TAPS from TX with several other dogs. Smitty is reported to be human and dog friendly. Cats unknown.
Smitty rode very well in the car this morning. Once at Linda’s house, he happily explored his new surroundings. Smitty was a little uncertain of the TV which makes us wonder if he’s ever lived in a home. Smitty loved playing with tennis balls and chewing on dogwood treats. Smitty does counter surf, will need help with potty training and all the other obedience/manners training that puppies need.
